Default Nobel Peace Prize winner, Obama, seeks record $708 bln in FY11 defense budget

Obama seeks record $708 bln in FY11 defense budget | Markets | Market Movers | Reuters

Quote:
President Barack Obama on Monday asked Congress to approve a record $708 billion in defense spending for fiscal year 2011, including a 3.4 percent increase in the Pentagon's base budget and $159 billion to fund U.S. military missions in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The White House budget request also included $33 billion in additional funding for fiscal 2010 to pay for increasing military and intelligence operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and drawing down U.S. forces in Iraq. That comes on top of $129.6 billion already provided for the current fiscal year, which ends Sept. 30.

Peace keeps operation

Ah.

I see the right is now pacifist.

Very well, I have a question for you:

Would you be in favor of, or opposed to, a 25% across-the-board cut to Pentagon spending?

That would obviously substantiate, in the way you have selected, that he's worthy of a Nobel peace prize, which after all, must be a good thing to win, since you are asserting he did not deserve it.

How about it, Harry? 25% Pentagon cut? How about if we maintain that level, adjusted for inflation, in perpetuity? How about you, NEP? Is that the program you support?

Yes or no, please.

Thanks,

PFnV

I'm for "no more war" with any of those friggin savages, put our military on all of our borders, sea ports and airports, if we do catch the enemy trying to harm us kill them on the spot, no trial, dead.

No pentagon cut, no military cut whatsoever, instead give them more money "BUILD OUR DEFENSE" protect our own country and it's borders, let the crooked UN handle Islam.

NO MORE WAR---COME HOME PROTECT AMERICA--F-CK AFGANISTAN AND F-CK THE MIDDLE EAST LET THOSE BASTARDS SLAUGHTER EACH OTHER KILLING IS A WAY OF LIFE FOR THEM SO LET THEM KILL EACH OTHER OFF.

GOD HELP ISRAEL
The big thing Israel has going for itself is they don't slurp and slobber over the "civil liberties ****" or the "politically correct *****" when somebody messes with them they kill them as fast as they can, America could learn a lot about "self defense" from that small little country, Israel.

We had a saying here ... people who would Google "Bush / Bad"

Now we have a singular carbon unit who Googles "Obama / Bad"

I come here everyday ... to get all the news I need ... NEP-News.

Sometimes I think it's really he who shall not be named ... extracting revenge.

You're just brainwashed by Maitraya the World Teacher

- edit, I just spelled "brainwashed" as "brianwashed," which was not intended in any way to reflect upon the profile picture of any poster on Patsfans.com.
