I'm surprised to see the Obama teleprompter statement (ok, not really). After Obama stood in front of 178 Republicans in Baltimore and answered their questions........oh wait, he must have been given the questions beforehand which were then displayed on the teleprompter. Got it.

I guess Obama's an idiot too. He can't even pronounce "corpsman". He thinks it is "corpse-man". Only with him, it isn't an accent. He really doesn't know how to pronounce the word.

TPTB has really attacked free speech VERY subtlely - for one, there's political correctness, two, luring churches since the 50's to incorporate as 501c3 statuses(in exchange for their congregations taking Sch A deductions for their offerings), etc, etc.

The 501c3 statuses for churches was HUGE, why? B/c no longer, the preachers of these churches could no longer call preach against abortion, gay marriage, and other government laws that are harmful to our nation. They can't even speak out against any kind of government tyranny either.

Remember once upon a time ago when churches played a big role in ending slavery?

If corporations allow shareholders to vote on their political support, then Thomas has a point. Otherwise, he's preaching a simplistic message that I think is political in nature.
