Climate Change Fraud - Al Gore announces the new name of global warming to be an unpronounceable symbol: ?The Phenomenon Formerly Known as Global Warming?

Al Gore said Wednesday that the terms “global warming”, “climate change”, and “climate crisis” shall be immediately replaced with an unpronounceable symbol. As he unveiled the new symbol to the media at a press conference in his hometown, the former vice president cited the continued emerging complexity of climate science as the reason for the change in nomenclature.

“The terms global warming, climate change and climate crisis are wholly inadequate to accurately describe the catastrophe that our planet faces if we continue to treat our atmosphere like an open sewer”, Gore said. He added, “I recognize the difficulties the public, journalists and the consensus of scientists will have in referring to this unpronounceable symbol in spoken or printed words, therefore I would urge everyone to refer to this symbol as simply,‘The Phenomenon Formerly Known as Global Warming’”.

"Global warming" is a fine phrase. It's perfectly accurate. However, to change the name to "climate change" has the effect of pulling the rug out from under the feet of those who maintain that any anomaly is proof that there is no global warming, which is essentially the primary argument of the deniers. What about 1934? What about 1998? It's cold in Boston. Where's the global warming? and other such nonsense.

Actually it isn't, but like most MMGW alarmists, you don't worry about letting the facts get in the way of your ignorance. You'll just manipulate and make up whatever data you want.

Translation: The term "global warming" was great until it was pretty much proven beyond any reasonable doubt that the globe was no longer warming. Now they use the catchall phrase "climate change" because anytime anything happens, they can just say "climate change."
