The recent labor unrest in the NFL has afforded an excellent analogy to the globalist crisis this country is now immersed in.
The NFL owners, all independant and somewhat competitive businessmen, nonetheless are bound by the common desire to promote their product, in order to maximize individual profit for themselves. So they establish this strong authority, called the league, and a commissioner to oversee it. This league establishes rules and bargains as a single entity with the players, and media rights, etc.
The globalist "league of owners" if you will, is in fact the Tri-Lateral Commission.

These global team owners represent the best, brightest, and most influential people from government, business, finance, and education. There are three branches to this "league". Think NFL America, NFL Asia, and NFL Europe here. The single commissioner who holds this all together is its founder, David Rockefeller. Many of our government leaders are members or former members, from both parties.

These members meet regularly. They also send a group from the political branch to Europe for an annual owners meeting called the Bilderburg group. Just as in the NFL these owners dont always see eye to eye on the issues at hand, (like revenue sharing and cash over cap). But they stand fairly united in their support for the league. In this case, world denationalization, establishment of world banking, government, and economy, above any national regulation or control. This philosophy maximizes their profits and influence.
They're are other entities in this league. There are the players and agents, looking for their own piece of the pie. Think of these as the CFR and politicians on the local and national level. They seek a bigger slice of the revenue (influence). Usually they exist in a mutually satisfying relationship, but sometimes things break down.
Lastly there are the fans. In this case the population. The ones who pay for it all. No matter how the players and owners feel about each other, they all understand how important it is to keep the fans happy and ignorant of the implications of it all. In globalism, the idea is for a world fascist-socialist government. This keeps the fans perpetually reliant on the league for their survival, yet controlled and regulated so they can not be a threat to watch a different sport. The modern right comes into power and strips us of our self determination, the left comes into power and increases our dependence on the government. Both strip us of our ability to regulate the elite of finance and business, as they exploit third world countries for cheap labor, and eploit our wealth;all the while out of reach of our laws and regulations. See all the threads on this forum about job loss, Haliburton, outsourcing, etc.
Conspiracy theorists take this thought to "whacko alert" status and discredit those who see the real threat of globalism. That, in my opinion is yet another fnord. Disinformation meant to distract the people from the real threat at hand.
There really is no single minded monolithic conspiracy bent on world domination. Rather, there is a bunch of team owners trying to work together to enhance their league. Except this time, we lose. Everything.
