Some people don't want to see (what they consider tasteless) go daddy commercials go figure, lots of different POV's out there.

Many people don't want to hear messages they are uncomfortable with and that challenge their assumptions.

Bullcrap. It's about attention. Why did they choose The Super Bowl for their big coming out ad? Certainly they know with their target demographic, they would be better suited to advertise in other ways. But they go for The Super Bowl to try to get as much attention and people talking about them as possible - and as we are all demonstrating, it works.

I guess I just don't get worked up over commercials since I rarely watch them.

The fact that politicians have to smear their opponents instead of telling people about themselves shows what a joke our elections have become.
Indeed, but that's another thread for another day.

Gotta tell you I don't consider the Heisman Trophy and 2 National Championships to be "blah blah blah." He is arguably the greatest college quarterback of all time.

Yeah, see this is the sort of statement that helps convince me that people like you are pro-abortion, not pro choice. When a woman chooses not to have an abortions when there may be risk involved, I see that as heroic. You see it as disdainful.

Actually, isn't that exactly what you're doing right here in this forum?

Challenge this... a really great mantra is "if things sound too good to be true, they usually are"...

ABORTION HAS BEEN ILLEGAL IN ALL SITUATIONS IN THE PHILLIPINES SINCE 1930 SO IT WAS NOT AN OPTION FOR MAMA TEBOW

Abortion in the Philippines - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
There is no law in the Philippines that expressly authorizes abortions in order to save the woman's life; and the general provisions which do penalize abortion make no qualifications if the woman's life is endangered. It may be argued that an abortion to save the mother's life could be classified as a justifying circumstance (duress as opposed to self-defense) that would bar criminal prosecution under the Revised Penal Code. However, this has yet to be adjudicated by the Philippine Supreme Court.

Proposals to liberalize Philippine abortion laws have been opposed by the Catholic Church, and its opposition has considerable influence in the predominantly Catholic country. However, the constitutionality of abortion restrictions has yet to be challenged before the Philippine Supreme Court.

She could fly to Hawaii to get an abortion, another straw man from the pro abortionites.

Damn laws! Come off it. You think she would have aborted him but the law prevented her from making the "right" choice? Okay........let’s say she might have. It's clear that she now realizes that if she had to do it over again that she would want to keep him. I think that’s the message. That's not to good to be true. It is true.

Pro abortionites... interesting word, she was a missionary in the Phillipines and she would have flown to Hawaii to get an abortion, in this context believe she was talking about her choice during her mission and in reality there really was not a choice, unless she chose to break the law...

Amazing what the right can read into this stuff..

The Japanese are very close to Making the Perfect Female Android, you won't be able to tell the difference between the Android or Sanda Bullock, the good thing about this is you can't knock them up, No Abortion Needed, when your all done slobbering, sweating and telling them "you love them" you can put them in the closet with your sneakers.
You can "swap androids" with your friends..........

No more of this ***** "hi honey I'm home"

That's true but her sentiment is a valid one. That's the point isn't it? ...Think hard before you make a decission that would deny you a very fullfilling bond between a mother and son. The woman's groups are obviously threatened by it but I'm not sure why. It's inspirational.
