Yep, I have no knowledge of a Congressman "blocking his [sic] phones" so constituents can't call. Personally I think that issue would take care of itself by the next election. You could theoretically have a congressman who lets all phone calls roll over to a voice message system, or have a congressman with no telephones at all. There is no law dictating congressional phone etiquette to my understanding, and we can't just issue one to justify conservative activists breaking other laws.
That's how I feel about it, 13. The law's the law, right? You don't just make new laws to justify the ones you broke.
As to evading security in the Boggs building versus any of the buildings in D.C., if there is
zero security of any kind there, why do you play dressup and pose as phone repairmen to get in again? Sounds like the place is pretty lax, but apparently the punks had to pretend to be on premises for something other than what they were there for.
That's the thing about being mr. ballsy private one-man espionage organization, innit? Spies that get caught by "the other side"--the ones they are spying on--get punished, don't they?
Keep defending punks like O'Queef because he "knocked one out of the park" by entrapping a community organizer probably paid $20K per annum to help people. Whoopie, have a big party for the guy! But don't expect the laws of the US to be rewritten for him.
And his buddies in Shreveport, and Breitbart, better hope he has the "courage of his convictions" (pun intended) and doesn't roll on his employer (Breitbart) and/or other members of the criminal conspiracy, assuming his buddy's dad is involved. Otherwise Breitbart will be in deep sh1t, and/or Shreveport will be needing a new U.S. Attourney, preferably one with a tad more respect for the laws of this country.
And you can get on Patsfans and

bloody murder, and join a "free James O'Queef" movement. You can have your very own cause celebre, just like you remember lefties doing, in another me-too grass roots move.
Guess what? If somone's trying to tap your phone, you'd press charges too.
Harry can say
Liberal lawbreakers = bad
Conservative lawbreakers = good
...except he only notices the mote in the other guy's eye...
...and the partisan circus continues for the hypocritical right, and you'll all be printing up bumper stickers saying "one more person died in Ted Kennedy's car than in the Watergate or Mary Landrieu's office" and crap like that.
Silly people.
