Default Obama awarded a 25 million dollar contract to his campaign donor

FOXNews.com - Obama Administration Steers Lucrative No-Bid Contract for Afghan Work to Dem Donor

Quote:
Despite President Obama's long history of criticizing the Bush administration for "sweetheart deals" with favored contractors, the Obama administration this month awarded a $25 million federal contract for work in Afghanistan to a company owned by a Democratic campaign contributor without entertaining competitive bids, Fox News has learned.
Yes, we can.

That's 25 million, not a million.

That's OK. It's "obama" (read in Chris Mathews' sexiest voice). I love you obama, you make my leg tingle.

He did promise during his campaign that he would not allow any no-bid contracts above $250,000.

Another promise broken. Anyone surprised?

If it looks like an Obama lie and it stinks like an Obama lie then it might just be another Obama lie.

How long will "Bush" be the excuse ? It's been over a year now.

When you lack the resources to make a cogent argument, use the Obamacard - blame Bush.

Problem is, the Obama promised during his campaign that he would not allow any no-bid contracts above $250,000. Bush never made such a promise.

You seem to be missing the issue but thanks for bringing up Bush again. By the way I don't remember Bush promising anything about no bid contracts. Anyway, to get this back on topic here is the Obama Promise (Lie)...

Make Government Spending More Accountable and Efficient: Obama will ensure that federal contracts
over $25,000 are competitively bid. Obama will also increase the efficiency of government programs
through better use of technology, stronger management that demands accountability and by leveraging the
government’s high-volume purchasing power to get lower prices.

http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/issue...icy_Fiscal.pdf

I actually wanted to edit this because after looking at some of things he promised I begin to question his intelligence. How could anyone think that the Government could bid all contracts above 25k? Imagine the paperwork for the millions of jobs...it would be a nightmare. Then I realize that he is highly intelligent and he was relying on the total stupidity of the voters. He won. How does it feel?

Bush isn't an excuse...not at all. He is the proof that those of you who stood by him, and are currently criticising Obama have no solid ground to stand on.

Thats right...I recall all of you holding Bush to the fire when he LIED about WMDs then gave his buddies all no bid contracts to take your tax dollars and p!$$ all over it.

Your double standards are straight up REDONCULOUS.
