Sorry I didn't realize that I probably should have used the "template" as well. Here goes.

White Male
Age: 36
Occupation:HVAC Technician
Grew up in: Lexington MA
Registered Party: Republican, though as I said I am becoming more and more disenchanted with the party as well as politics in general.
Military Experience:4yrs active duty Navy, 5yrs Naval reserves, 1yr Air force reserves
Pro-life, but as I said in another thread, I am really not in favor of anti-abortion law as I find the funding of crisis pregnancy centers to be much more effective.
Somewhat support equal rights for gays, but should be a state issue
Pro-Capital Punishment for Violent Criminals
Support legalization of no drugs, marijuana for medicinal purposes.
Less power to Federal Govt. More to states.
O.K. with higher taxes, provided they go to the public good (depends alot upon what you consider "public good).
pro-War in Iraq, but I am really dissapointed in many of the decisions made over the course of the conflict.
Anti-Patriot act as it is currently written, I do support heightened security measures.
Anti-Gun control, because if we have gun control then only the "idiots" will have them..
Refuse to give up civil liberties in the name of security
Pro-Democracy in the Middle East.
Pro-major election reform.
I was Pro George W Bush... but I have not been very happy with his performance this second term and overall he has been a fiscal disaster.

continuum:

MA, native but currently reside in Colorado Springs CO. I am an Evangelical Christian and enjoy sharing and discussing my faith and worldview with others. I am a huge Pats fan and have been since the early 80's. I enjoy any kind of outdoor activity, reading, debating and apologetics. Take care.

Family: married father of two elem school kids
Sports: 3-letter in HS: club sports in college, now: hoops, skiing, tracking, canoes and swimming
Education: Catholic HS, @ yr tech Assoc deg, BS in natural science and geology
Religion: highly spiritual science worshiper
Occupation: Property management, General Contractor, & environmental report proof-reader
Born & Raised: Massachusetts, the greatest place to live in America
Politics: Reg’d Libertarian, Various environmental and conservation initiatives.
Reproductive rights: Pro-death only because I can’t tell someone what to do with their body. I am sure, though, that after the fetus has its first cognition, whenever that is, abortion is murder of a baby, legal or not. Go figure.
Marital Rights: Any two, three, or four consenting adults should be allowed to live with any arrangement they wish and should formalize however they wish. State has absolutely no business in the affairs of adult private lives.
Capital Punishment: All murderers and violent child criminals sent to a remote hell-hole prison in the arctic where they may or may not survive. No such distinction as a “hate crime”.
Drugs: Legalize all drugs
Government Power: Minimal federal power, about same state power, more local power. All government power comes from taxes and armed agents who collect them.
Tax system: Consumption or sales tax, Flat tax next best option, repeal 16th Amendment
War: Only when Canada or Mexico is invaded or when a technologically advanced weapon is certainly and verifiably threatening from long range – or when white people are in danger
Security: Borders can’t be secured at this time but patrols should greatly increase to reduce illegal entry
Guns: Anti-gun control in all cases
Geopolitics: Middle East is hopeless due to despotic regimes, medieval societies, our untenable alliance with Israel and intolerance of all parties
China and India need to be addresses as equals in the future and not like little children. Our greatest enemy lies within.
Education: Local control and abolition of Federal Dept of Education. Public schools are often better than private ones, but not in poor districts where family life hurts kids and hurts academic performance.
Social Security : Abolish it now and return all assets to those who have paid in according to proportion of contribution. Retirement should be as privately funded as is living pre-retirement. Soc Sec does not work in part due to SSDI benefits to those who don’t need it.
Environment: Release of known toxins into the environment must be reduced to nothing ASAP. Childhood neurological disorders are rising exponentially and cancer rates are rising in industrialized areas. This is not a partisan issue
Energy: Anti-drilling in Alaska, against continued addiction to fossil fuel sources Developing alternative energy sources, including nuclear fission and fusion must be treated as a national security issue of the highest order.
US Politics: Major political revolution involving alternative party inclusion needed or we continue with more of the same. No real differences between dems and repubs and moderation is only a combination of the two, which has effectively occurred already.
On Bush: He's either the weakest puppet ever or the most evil bastid to have served in a long time. Either way, he's a traitor.
Pet peeve: Culture of fear in America has destroyed how children live. A kid is abducted in California and we hear about it as if it happened across the street. Kids can’t even have a pick-up game at the park without grownups hovering over them. Everything is planned and scheduled for them in a “safe” environment free of risk or danger. We’re in trouble when these kids come of age.

let's consider that

What I see in the current national Republican regime is an abomination. What I believe in is freedom--freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, individual rights and privacy. I am very much someone that volunteers and contributes to society positively, but stay out of my house, off of my land and respect my personal freedoms and responsibility. I think taxes are out of control even here in NH and loathe the stranglehold that school systems have on legislation and funding. I am not in favor of abortion, but find the imposition of morals on another as a reprehensible act. I will never have an abortion, but then again, I do not intend to become a pregnant male.

I think NEM, that I simply find more in common with the near-extinct Yankee Republican than with any other political beastie in existance (although the FSP 'Porcupines' do amuse me so).

Anyways, its winter in New Hampshire, and I'm voting for Frost Heaves next week.

Yeah, me too. I was an old live free or die NH republican. Last presidential candidate I got behind was Buchanan, when he won the NH primary. No one even close to that out there now. And the Republicans have sold us out.

White male 58, on my second marriage.
Two kids and two grandkids
Reside in RI, currently in the process of buying a second house in Maine, plan to move back there in the next couple of years.
Employment: Retired from RI Corrections Agency, formerly a manager and union official.
Party: Not sure probably independent, think GWB should be impeached, but do not think Kerry or Hillary would be good presidents. Prefer not to be labeled.
Definitely pro-choice, and pro death penalty.
Sports background, always tried hard not much talent, but lots of desire, now I prefer hiking, kayaking and in general adventure travel.
Believe in states rights as opposed to everything being regulated from DC.
Think the flat tax would be a good idea.
If I am terminally ill, I believe I have the right to die.
Believe in the constitution, and believe in the rights to bear arms, but do not know how assault rifles and machine guns fit into this equation.
Education can be fixed on a state wide level, anything the fed do in this area only make it worse.
Illegal immigration is only give lip service by the pols, as it is functional for most as a source of cheap labor with no benefits.
Extremely pro election reform, lobbying has become more powerful than the populus.
Think paper ballots that can be traced are a good idea, too much fraud and potential for it.
Gay rights are a state issue.
I think we should pull out of Iraq, and we should focus on humanitarian issues in the Arab world as we need to do something completely different, we are breeding a whole new generation of terrorists.
Very worried about outsourcing of jobs, illegal immigration and the national debt for my grandkids and wonder what the impact will be.
Think that this administration believe that most of us are ill informed dumbasses, who cannot discern the truth, and in reality there has been a very serious attempt to pull the wool over our eyes in the guise of national security.
