What will Obama do between now and his State Of The Union Speech that will give him a screaming standing ovation, he was planning on his "backroom obamacare" now thats dead, gitmo is still open, troops still in iraq, troops dying in afghanistan, america will soon be bankrupt, people losing their homes and jobs, and his illegal alien aunt zucchini is still is still being supported by the american people.

IF I WAS OBAMA I WOULD CANCEL THE STATE OF THE UNION SPEECH IT WILL BE ONE OF AMERICA'S GREATEST EMBARRASSMENTS, just like sarah palin, the kid wasn't ready.

In previous administrations the Constitution was viewed as a goddam piece of paper.. fortunately in this administration, Obama has chosen to follow the Constitution...

Darryls.... I respect your opinion, but do you really think the someone
who values the constitution would allow the bribes of Lousiana, Nebraska

Not quite sure how to respond, as I have had to little to say about healthcare and do not really want to try to understand it, if you read the left's view it is an essential item we all need, if you read the right's view it is something bad, somewhere in the middle there may be some truth, something eventually will be shoved down our throat, whether we like it or not.. and then there will be attaboy's all around..

BTW this was about the state of the union address, which is constitutionally mandated...

Sorry... I thought you were refering to Obama in general as a candidate
who believes in following the constitution (My mistake).

Just for the record (Yes this is a hijack).

I believe we need healthcare reform of some type.
I am on the record that they need stop insurance companies from
not covering pre existing conditions.

I also believe people should be able to "purchase" affordable healthcare.

They lost me when they bribed Lousiana, Nebraska and the Unions.

Sarcasm is the highest form of flattery, however do not really want or understand this health care stuff.. all I am certain of is that something will get shoved down our throat in the name of democracy or is what is best for us..

Quite simply, am selfish..

1.believe that people should be able to buy and afford health care, my grandchildren currently have no coverage.
2.they should close the "donut" hole, which is completely stupid.
3.the process for approving generic meds should be expedited.
4.preexisting conditions need to be convered.
5.every state should enact sometype of "tort reform", with the caveat that every dollar saved should be passed on to the consumer, not the insurance companies.. see the Texas example, which has not translated to lower premiums or lower costs.

Other than that it is all bullshyt and political posturing, do not understand how there can be 1000+ bill and Canada got their passed with a 12 page bill.

Whatever is passed will then have to be regulated, so somewhere down the line what was intended will not be.. see No Child Left Behind.

Health Care in America needs to be "Fixed" and "Improved" what we don't need is a Bill that is kept secret and behind closed doors by a bunch of nasty arrogant bully bastards.

Obamacare was put together by a gang of sneaks and then they planned on ramming it down the publics throat behind closed doors as fast as they could so the people would have no idea what kind of outlandish ***** it contained, the American people realized this and have said "F-ck You Mr President"

As much as I agree with your assessment of how it was done, not sure that Obama has gotten a big FU at this time, one election with a shytty candidate does not tell us a whole lot... we will have to stay tuned.
