Default Buh-Bye Air America

What a shame

Air America Radio Closing, Filing for Bankruptcy - ABC News

Air America Radio, a radio network that was launched in 2004 as a liberal alternative to Rush Limbaugh and other conservative commentators, on Thursday shut down abruptly due to financial woes.

The network once boasted hosts such as Al Franken and Rachel Maddow, but struggled from the outset, including multiple management shake-ups, a bankruptcy in 2006 and sale for $4.25 million the following year.

Air America ceased airing new programs Thursday afternoon and said it will soon file to be liquidated under Chapter 7 bankruptcy. It began broadcasting reruns of programs and would end those as well Monday night.

There were only 3 people in the whole country that listened to Air America, Phil Donahue, Barbara Boxer and Matt Lauer.

The whole Left Wing Establishment has started to fall apart, Barack Hussein Obama, his Czars and the Pelosi Gang were the Final Nail In The Coffin, the people will not allow them to rape and destroy America financially or morally.

One of their own States started the revolution, Massachusetts.

No talent and just hateful ranting, no surprise they failed. Guess they will have to get the FCC to put the conservatives off the air since they were unable to compete.

It looks like it won' tbe possible to bring up the fairness doctrine. If you look at the majority opinion of the supreme court when they knocked down Mcain/Fiengold, they really set up protection around corporate free speech. All radio programs for the most part are produced by a corporation, and looks to be completely protected as free speech. Just another awesome thing about the ruling.

And no wonder lib's want to turn off conservative radio. They can't ever compete against it, so thats why they wanted to legislate against it. No wonder Lib's hate the free market. They can't survive in it

I guess you can say Air America went up in smoke.

Exactly, they can't compete in the game so they don't want the game played.

This President Of The United States Of America himself would like nothing better than to "Shut Down" Fox News the same way Chavez does to his opposition, Fox News won't kiss this or any other Presidents A$s.

The "Obama Cable News Service (MSNBC) finishes last in all polls taken...Just like Air America.............

I will say it's a little bit of a shame, because they did provide a job to one Marc Maron. Though I could care less about most of the shows on that network, Marc Maron is a very funny and gifted comedian. I don't usually agree with him, as he's pretty left-wing, but that does not take away from his incisive and intelligent humor. He's not one of those snarky alternative comics that lefty humorists turn into. If you like comedy, I suggest checking him out.

+1. They really were just a bunch of angry, hate-filled intolerant people. In short, they were the epitome of everything they accuse the right of being.
