Default Some Solid Proposals by Pres. Obama

Yup, it's me...PatriotsReigh...and I've got something good to say about our president.

Today before a national television audience, he proposed some solid changes in the financial industry. I liked what I heard. He proposed that no FDIC insured bank ought to be able to make trades for their own accounts. He also proposed prohibiting banks from owning or investing in hedge funds.

He also proposed limitting banks size...i.e. enforce anti-trust laws.

All of the above are good for our economy and good for Americans. Kudo's to Obama and I hope to hear more proposals like these.

Hahahahah...Props where Props are due....right?

This is funny, because I'm a supporter of Obama...and I wanna see him walk the walk on this one. So far he's been pretty huggy and kissy with wall street, banks and the FED. So for us to praise him on his words at this point is premature.

This dude said Gitmo would be closed by now...

I like what he said, I just want to see some action on this one before I start cheering for the man.

I agree....I also feel he and congress have no choice but to impose these changes. Unless they want history to repeat itself.

Hey, look! We agree on something

Meanwhile Lloyd "God's work" Blankfein and Goldman Sachs made another 4.6 billion in profits last quarter.

One area where I'm pretty liberal is corporate America and gov't policy Jack. I'd like to see all corp. lobbyists outlawed permanently. I'd like to see more anti-trust laws enforced as well.

Raise the rewards for corp. whistle-blowers...I'd consider them hero's!

But, I don't want a European style business environment either. So if we can walk that tight-rope, I'm all for it.

He has to announce something today to divert attention from the squeaker admitting she doesn't have the votes to pass the Senate's Health Care bill

He's trying to turn into a populist which is interesting as he continually sticks his nose up at the average person.

You will be seeing a "New Obama" thanks to Scott Brown, the Messiah is running scared, if he means what he says good for him but I don't trust him, he knows that November is right aorund the corner and he knows the American people have had enough of his cheap lying bull*****.

Yeah, that damn Obama, always sticking his nose up at the average person. Some might call that, I don't know, uppity.

Fine, that's what he is then.

It's funny seeing a snob try to be a populist but I hope the proposals help.

How is Obama, in any respect, a snob? Have you met the man?

I love how you can't even being yourself to give him credit under any circumstances. Hackish, much?
