Default Crackdown on tax delinquent federal contractors...

This is the ultimate slap in the face for taxpayers, in many cases these folks rely solely on the federal government and apparently they are not paying their taxes... cannot imagine how this has existed this long...

Obama orders crackdown on tax-delinquent contractors - FederalTimes.com

Quote:
President Obama on Wednesday ordered the IRS to verify whether prospective contractors are up to date in paying their taxes. Companies seeking to do business with the government have long had to certify they are not delinquent in their taxes — now IRS must verify if those certifications are truthful and report its findings in 90 days.

Tens of thousands of deadbeat contractors owe the government more than $5 billion, Obama said before signing the memo. The government should not pay these companies any money until their taxes are paid because unpaid taxes cheat citizens out of improvements to education, health care and energy, he said.

Hey Obama, let the contractors work so they can pay their taxes.

While your at it, make sure that they verify those certifications before selecting the Secretary of the Treasury.

Yeah. Nobody should have to pay his taxes. Ever. Especially contractors paid with our taxpayer money!

Let them keep more of their own money they get from us!

Tax enforcement is tyrrany!

Can someone tell me through the internal logic of this point of view how it could possibly be enacted and sustained other than through perpetual ballooning of debt?
