Default What were your polling places like today?

In my town there was a line a mile long. It took 15 minutes to get into the high school parking lot. In the presidential election I went around the same time (4PM) and drove straight in.

I'm 3,000 miles away but the reports I heard say there was a massive turnout = good for Brown.

LONG line where I went too. It's been snowing all day (not really accumulating much on the roads, maybe a couple of inches or so if that) but apparently that didn't stop anyone thank goodness. It was good to see!

No exit polling I guess, which stinks

You didn't vote from 3,00 miles away ... like 100,00 dead people will vote today.

All kidding aside ... voting is very American and people who did not vote in Mass today

... well ... you people suck and have no right to complain if you're too lazy to vote.

No, no ACORN busses in sight either. But, I hear the Coakley people are already murmuring voter fraud.

I snapped this pic with my iPhone from my car while in line.

It's a beautiful day
Sky falls, you feel like
It's a beautiful day
Don't let it get away

You're on the road
But you've got no destination
You're in the mud
In the maze of her imagination

You love this town
Even if that doesn't ring true
You've been all over
And it's been all over you

It's a beautiful day
Don't let it get away
It's a beautiful day

I live in Raynham and my precinct was virtually empty when I voted for Brown.

No line for my sub-precinct since it was lunchtime...turnout was better than the November municipal election, 83rd ballot in the scanner at 11:30 compared with 63rd at around 4pm.

Drove by on a couple of buses past eight total precints in Chelsea/Revere/Everett and there was plenty of parking with no lines nor many if any people going in to vote, and got a report from cousin that was slow when her, my aunt, and my uncle went around 6pm in Chelsea that it was dead inside their polling place(like 4-6 precincts total there) with about 130 or so votes cast for their precinct.
