Again, we digress from the topic at hand. This free trade globalism has to stop. We've all but destroyed the working middle-class! This is the single biggest threat to our country's future, not terrorism. There is a large segment (the majority) of our population that has no significant marketable innate talent. Nor do they posess the academic capabilities to thrive in college. The globalists are dooming the majority of our population to low paying retail service jobs. Of course, this is what they want. These people will then need public assistance to survive. We are in BIG trouble here, folks, and something HAS to be done to stop it!

My concern is not for Israel. Their concern is not for us. That's all fine with me. Israel is not a state in the United States. Their security is not our problem, it's their's. Isn't it bad enough we spend billions of dollars a year to keep them from getting run over? They have nukes. If they want to use them, let them do so at their own peril.

Woa, Nelly! Iran getting nukes is every bit as much a threat to us as it is to Israel. And they would hate us and think we are worthy of receiving a nuke REGARDLESS of whether we're anywhere near the Persian Gulf. America is the Great Satan for more reasons than just that. We are the producers and exporters of Godless movies, porn, homosexual propoganda, abortion, etc., many things that many liberals/pregressives are proud of and that are repugnant to Muslims.

Your suggested solution of abandoning Iraq and Israel and withdrawing all of our presence in the region, if that is in fact your suggested solution, not only wouldn't work, it would invite terrorist acts on US soil. It would send the same message that bin Laden took from Somalia, that America is weak and will run at the sight of blood.

Wanting to leave Israel to fend for itself is not anti-semitic. The very phrase "anti-Semitic" is misleading because the word "Semite" refers to anyone living in the region that imcludes Arabs and Jews as well as Lebanese. Besides, is Israel synonymous with Jews? To me, that would be the same thing as equating Norway with Lutherans or Italy with Catholics. It's rediculous.

That's exactly what I propose. What do you base your claims on? Are you saying what happenned in Somalia caused the WTC attack? How do you make that connection?

I make that connection because bin Laden made that connection. He's the one that said that when the Americans ran from Somalia, it showed that we are a paper tiger who would run at the first sight of blood, or words to that effect. It's what emboldened him in his increasingly savage attacks against Americans and American assets.

The fact is that your proposal is a quintessential example of why national security cannot be left in the hands of people like you. Israel is an ally. If we abandon them, we send a message to the entire world that America cannot be trusted. It would probably make the Islamofascists ecstatic for a while, but don't think that would keep them from nuking us the first chance they get.
