Well, my employer never offered me salvation, and the promise of an exciting career where I would learn new skills was overblown, especially when compared to what Al Qaida has to offer. Add to that, early retirement (for suicide bombers) and martyrdom. It's not for me, but it's not all that bad a package. (I wonder if they provide free coffee.)

You know what's interesting, Pissah, and I'd curious to know if you agree. Both of us played it cautiously and qualified our posts above (even though were being humorous). I said, "it's not for me, but ..." and you said, "NSA - ignore this post."

A few weeks ago I went out to dinner with a friend and in the context of knocking over a glass of wine, he said "I'm a terrorist," and then looked nervously around before adding, "I should probably watch what I say." I think there's a certain awareness that the government might be listening in on us, which is actually curtailing our freedom of speech. Sure, we're free to say things, but the environment is a little more intimidating.

If that was the case Patters, NEM would have been picked up by the secret service long ago.
