Default Senate drops NSA investigation

Bush says Who's Your Daddy!

Seriously though, the Senate has realized that they would get crushed both Politically and Legally if they went ahead with this.

Good. I can't wait until Hillary sets them loose to tap your phone.

Seriously though, has your pal Tobin called you from jail yet for some shady GOP lawyer contacts? That call will certainly be tapped. Just a heads up.

For what its worth, Tobin is out while an appeal is being considered.

Do you think the Bush Administration is blowing a sigh of relief? Next week it will just be something else. We had Cheney's distraction this week, lets get back to the Plame outing or the contracting fraud, or the Intelligence cherry picking or the torturing of prisoners. So much to choose from, but something else will rear its ugly head, count on it.

Slam the Admin of the War planning or immigration, but the things you mention are losing issues, but hey far be it for me to complain, your side will continue to loose elections.

Well, since it doesn't make a difference, then why doesn't "your side" finally grow a pair and put pressure into those issues (border and lack of war plan) and "our side" continue to take on these issues.

There are so many issues/scandals/cover-ups at this point we have a variety to choose from. Where do you get off telling anyone what issue they should take up as a cause, what should concern us most as americans? What are you, the thought police??

Apparently, its not a done deal yet, although Bush and Cheney desperately want it to be. Now a federal judge weighs in http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060216/..._spying_courts

Good point
The DNC and its allies in the liberal media are nothing if not consistent in manufacturing 'crises' in their attempt to topple the Bush administration. Like a blind squirrel, maybe someday they'll find an issue of substance.

Unless you want to be intentionally blind (which also sometimes serves a useful purpose) you should be able to tell the distractions from the issues with substance.

Cheney's hunting accident? Distraction.

Revealing a CIA agent's identity for political reasons? Issue with substance.

Politcians are all opportunists, and they'll take their shots whether there's something to gripe about or not, but don't let that keep YOU from considering each issue on its own merits.
