In general you're right, but sometimes bigotry enters the equation, either the bigotry of the pharmacy owner or pressure brought on by various groups. It can be in a business's interest to cater to one group at the expense of another. Certainly with the morning after pill there are such issues entering the equation.
Which issues are you referring to? You've already drawn bogus and offensive parallels to handicapped and black people, in relation to women who have had unprotected sex and find themselves pregnant through their own actions. They didn't wake up pregnant after spending the night in church (unless it was with a priest). Handicapped people and black people with cicle-cell anemia are innocent victims of accidents or genetics.
If a woman has a medical condition which forbids her to get pregnant, use the pill, IUD or condoms, or abstain from sex with fertile men, then she needs to get a prescription and have a supply of this pill with her. This would have to be the smallest of all populations.
It has nothing to do with Wallmart. Almost all other pharmacies carry the stuff. It has to do with the state over-regulating, and the only way to look at this, IMO, is if you think there's no such thing as state over-regulation.

My view is that a pharmacy provides a medical service. It should not be in the business of judging people's reasons for taking medication. If Walmart's decision was based soley on business issues, that would be another matter. Walmart may very well need the protection of government to prevent anti-women groups from forcing it to act as a political entity, rather than as a pharmacy.
In this drugged up sex crazy perverted society we have in America today I not only believe Abortion pills should be sold in Wal Mart I beleive Abortions themselves Should also be available and performed in Wal Mart (In the recieving area where the trucks back in), medical students could perform them.
All Crack Cocaine addicted women who are pregnant and get picked up for any offense should be driven by the police directly to the nearest Wal Mart and be Aborted. Free Abortion for all Sluts, most of them aren't fit to be mothers.
And The Little Children Shall Suffer
If Wall Mart manages to out compete all or nearly all of the Pharmacies in this state to the point that they are the only choice for people to fill prescriptions, are they still entitled to not sell what they want? We are heading that way, franchises are well on their way to taking over where mom and pop stores once ruled. Who do you Conservatives want deciding what drugs can be sold in this state? The Wall Mart Board of directors? or people YOU can actually vote against if you don't like them?
BTW, I'm quite sure that the powers that be at Wall Mart's corporate hq are perfectly happy selling the drug, as long as they can point to a law that says they have to whenever the anti-choice people start screaming at them. The women who need this drug can get it dirt cheap, and Wall Mart's got the political cover it needs. Once again the Liberals here in MA have found a win/win scenerio for everyone involved; but the Conservatives STILL complain.
