Here's a poser for you: you're a member of a highly-advanced alien civilisation and have just travelled to Earth in your hyperdrive-powered craft intending to enjoy a long-weekend break. The trouble is, you can't decide whether to: a) nip over to rural Idaho, abduct a farmhand and anally probe him before modifying his DNA and dumping him back on the highway; or b) pop down to Billingley in Yorkshire and leave a cryptic message for humanity in a corn field:

I find humor in B, but A now that could be alot of fun. Think about it you can grab a guy who is already considered borderline looney by the people he knows and make it official. All the while the guy is telling the truth but noone believes him because it is such an off the wall story and his sanity was suspect prior to that. If I were an alian that would be more humorous.

Damn, that is good. That will put Billingley on the map, wherever in Yorkshire ir is. It reminds of my signature.
