Default BEWARE of the Council on Foreign Relations...

And even giving 2nd thoughts of going to their web site. I got this off of another MB I frequent...

Quote:
CFR
My husband met someone at work last night, a fellow officer, that shared that he's a Constitutionalist and very conservative. They struck up a conversation about the direction things are heading and he shared that not long ago, while noodling around on his computer, he found the main website for the CFR. Somewhere on one of the main pages, he said, is a photo of a white horse with someone riding it. Scary enough. Then there are the "warnings" that you shouldn't be on the site. So, after a couple more minutes, he got out and started looking elsewhere on the net.

A few days later, he received a call from the FBI. Wanting to know why he'd been on the CFR website, what his interest in it was, and why he felt it necessary to be on there.

I'm dying to go on there myself, but really do not feel like having the government crawling up my rear with a scope asking me things. Just thought I'd share. So much for the "world wide web" and transparency?
Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face! And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.

I'm back...I visited the site and read some stuff. Didn't see any white horse. It's definately a conservative site or appeared so to me.

I also visited another site that consider the CFR to be a huge international conspiracy thing. I have no time or desire to attempt to find the truth about this group regarding said conspiracy

I even went to the "login page" and typed in a few bogus usernames & pw's.

Waiting for the call from "the government" guys in black suv's and silent-mode helicopters!

How does the guy definitely know that is was the FBI on the phone???

This looks as though it may be the work of some merry prankster, who is very good at tracking down personal info... it is a think tank... none of this makes any sense..

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is an American nonprofit and nonpartisan membership organization dedicated to improving the understanding of U.S. foreign policy and international affairs. Ahhh....that's too bad Flex! I was psyched to talk to them too! When it come to stuff like that, I'm one defiant SOB! I would dare them to call on me for visiting a website.

So rather than just buying $40 worth of encryption software the CFR sends FBI agents after you?

Sure that's like totally sensible.

On a related note the key to the side door of the White House is under the small flower pot on the left; but its a federal offense to touch it.

Not to mention that IF you can get to the flower pot, you'll spend 20 years in a federal pen....
