In Yemen, Saudi jets bomb civilian areas

Houthi fighters in Yemen say Saudi warplanes have carried out several attacks on residential areas in the country's beleaguered north.

In a statement released on Sunday, the fighters said that Saudi jets launched over 30 airstrikes on villages in the northern parts of the country.

Saudi forces have also fired some 660 rockets and artillery rounds at civilian areas along the border, websites close to the fighters reported.

The warplanes reportedly fired more than 700 missiles overnight on the northern villages along the border with the kingdom on Saturday.

Yemen is supposed to be a friendly country.

We are sending more troops to Afghanistan soon.

Someone is trying to spread us thinner

Here is the real story here ... a story sort of buried by the media.

Top leader of rebels died and buried

Various and concurrent sources from Sa’adah said Sunday that Abdul Malik al-Houthi was buried on Saturday in al-Malahaid area, west of Sa’adah.

Despite the fact that the burial took place secretly to avoid any effect on the morale of the rebels still fighting the Yemeni army, the news of his death is spreading quickly everywhere in Sa’adah, the sources said.
