Default Fannie Mae could get another $400B taxpayer $$

Remember the ridiculous claim that taxpayers would not lose a dime on Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac when they were seized 16 months ago?

Well, that was just another (not Obama) gov't lie.

Fannie, Freddie Overseer May Seek More Treasury Aid (Update2)

"Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s federal regulator is renegotiating the companies’ financing plan with the U.S. Treasury Department and may seek an increase to their $400 billion federal lifeline before the end of the year, according to people familiar with the talks."

So does anyone still believe the future of our economy is looking better?

But hey, didn't you hear back in the day, Fannie and Freddie are ok. Nothing to worry about there.

Can you pass me the vanilla swirl?

I don't even know what your comment means. How do you write posts that make no sense?

What speculation was stated as fact?

haha, funny you ask. When I post from the kitchen table, and she looks at the screen, and says "omg that's terrible, what the heck are you looking at? Where are you? What the heck is that all about?" To which I explain that it is an internet forum, and that's some slobs sig. hahaha, she doesn't know my screen name, so she has no clue it's mine. It's an ongoing joke in a sense. She always makes a comment when she sees it, so I say stuff like "hey, what can you do. Men are slobs you know." hehehehe....

My wife knows my personality though. It's part of the reason why she was attracted to me in the first place.
