I am making fun of their lack of awareness of the effect of their actions, or their hypocracy take your pick. As for me you are ciorrect they will have no effect on the earths climate even if they enact the insane policies they envision although they will impoverish hundred of millions.

How can you have a beef with something you don't believe in?
Actually there are three questions to be asked;
1) Is there global warming?
2) Is it the result of man-made actions?
3) Is there anything we can do about it?
Looking at it in the long term from ice ages to warming stages, the earth likely is warmly now but is it largely a result of industrialized nations and CO2 emissions and can we do anything about it? I would contend that the answers to the last two questions are not settled.
While it is a laudable goal to cut down on greenhouse gases, it has to be a collective worldwide action. It is ridiculous to think that the US should take actions to cut down on emissions ( cap and trade) while other large nations such as India and China ( opening a coal fired plant every 10 days or so) don't because it will put our economy at a serious disadvantage.
Not a bad idea... but difficult to have individual meetings via teleconference...
Not sure if the Hookers left Minneapolis-St. Paul yet though... they could do the telephone sex thing, that would save a lot of money and carbon..
I'll call Tiger and BJ Billie and see if they are OK with your plan. The hookers in MN would like some AGW btw.
