Default PELOSI: I want to tax on EVERY FINANCIAL TRANSACTION

Wall Street tax has a great deal of merit: Pelosi | Reuters

Quote:

A proposed tax on financial transactions "has a great deal of merit" and would help Congress raise needed revenue, U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
This is the same b!tch who SPENT nearly 3000 US dollars on flowers. Democrats have a lot of ideas how to tax everybody but they don't have a glue how to create job after spending 2 T dollars.

If/when this comes down I see visions of "It's a Wonderful Life" and the infamous mad dash to the bank to withdraw all their money...

2008 bank failures all over again

Um, PatriotsReign has asked that we all refrain from blaming Democrats or Republicans for everything and anything.

The people get what they deserve, those are the filthy scum they voted for so now they have to live with them, Obama, the old bag Pelosi, and that gang of grinning pigs that are always sniffing around behind her
(schumer etc) are going to screw this country and the people so bad that even Hollywood and Katie Couric will vote Republican in 2012.

TROOPS ARE STILL DYING AT THE HANDS OF THE SAVAGE WHERE DID ALL THE WAR PROTESTERS GO

A PRISON CAN BE CLOSED AND IT'S INMATES TRANSFERED IN TWO WEEKS, GITMO IS STILL OPEN.

Yay!! I finally convinced someone!

Let's say for grins & giggles that we can blame someone for an terrible failed policy. Ok, what then?

If we laid out every single bad policy for the past 100 years, what would we have? It would not prove either party is any better than the other, now would it.

I guess I've made it clear what I'm against. Let me tell you what kind of discussion I would love to see more of. It's really quite simple. How about if we try discussing SOLUTIONS?

Ah, never mind....what good are solutions?

It's missing the point entirely - political solutions are always based on what you are trying to achieve which is always based on ... ideology.

Want to concentrate wealth? Lower capital gains, reduce anti-trust enforcement, and eradicate or lower estate taxes. Want to spread the wealth? Institute progressive taxation, build social programs, enforce corporate taxation, and raise the minimum wage.

You see? All solutions are contingent on the political ideals. This no left/no right idea is jest really perplexing and not at all grounded in political reality.

So Apple if you were to substitute the word expand for the word concentrate and the word destroy for distribute you would have had an accurate post. You need to avoid those marxist professors who have never created any wealth in their lives.
