(CHICAGO)(January 18, 2006) Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate Andy Martin has begun to broadcast an antiwar campaign commercial.



“We expect this message to roil the waters,” Martin says. “We are talking to the heart of the heartland: Illinois. I believe we have the #1 political commercial in America right now. Period.



“It is a unique commercial: an antiwar message wrapped in a patriotic theme.”



The radio spot will air initially over WBBM-AM, WLS-AM and WGN-AM. Commercial schedules are being arranged.
