Default Blackwater’s Erik Prince to step down, reveals CIA role

January 2010: Adam Ciralsky on Blackwater | vanityfair.com

For the past six years, Prince "appears to have led an astonishing double life," writes Adam Ciralsky. "Publicly, he has served as Blackwater’s CEO and chairman. Privately, and secretly, he has been doing the CIA’s bidding, helping to craft, fund, and execute operations ranging from inserting personnel into 'denied areas'—places US intelligence has trouble penetrating—to assembling hit teams targeting al-Qaeda members and their allies."

Ciralsky reports that Prince became a CIA "asset," or spy, who became a "Mr. Fix-It" in the war on terror.

"Prince wasn’t merely a contractor; he was, insiders say, a full-blown asset," Ciralsky reports. "Three sources with direct knowledge of the relationship say that the CIA’s National Resources Division recruited Prince in 2004 to join a secret network of American citizens with special skills or unusual access to targets of interest. As assets go, Prince would have been quite a catch. He had more cash, transport, matériel, and personnel at his disposal than almost anyone Langley would have run in its 62-year history."

This guy is quite possibly one of the top 10 WORST humans. How'd that 'war on terror' go?

thanks Eric, you frickin PRICK!

He is also implicated in a murder...

A former intern under George H. Bush..

Cheated on his wife who had cancer, with his kids nanny..

Been involved in a ton of controversies..

But the billions keep flowing to his company...

Interesting bedfellows these defense contractors... the military industrial complex rocks big time... they are our enemy.

Sucks to the billionth degree when someone like this is on OUR side, fighting AGAINST the terrorists?

WTF?

I'm sure all the people he killed or had killed are cool with it, they probably will never seek vengence against teh United States. He has not put our nation into further danger by his actions....

yeah...right.

Who exactly is our enemy?

Interestingly enough his father is one of the wealthiest people in the world... combined with how much the US paid him over the years, he will allude the justice system and if he goes to trial will beat it...

These guys literally make me sick to my stomach....

Don't forget fundamentalist Christian God Squadder, and self-admitted Crusader.

But don't say any of that... You'll upset 28 percenters who worship him.

Erik Price epitomes what it means to be a Patriot. God bless him and those like him. I am proud he is an American.

So, if the view of the average 28 percenter, advocating and fostering the murder of innocent brown people of other faiths and cheating on your sick wife is the epitomy of what it means to be a Patriot... Noted.

DOn't know much about the killings in Iraq, we will never know whether they were being set up by insurgents who were trying to avoid these guys.

As to the rest of the article. Sounds like a great guy too bad we didn't kill the scum like AQ Khan and the others. I WANT PEOPLE KILLING AL QUEDA OPERATIVES.

I also found this part of the article interesting I am limied by the 4 sentence rule here:

Quote:
Others with knowledge of the program are far more charitable and question why any right-thinking officer would sign up for an assassination program at a time when their colleagues—who had thought they had legal cover to engage in another sensitive effort, the “enhanced interrogations” program at secret C.I.A. sites in foreign countries—were finding themselves in legal limbo.

Thanks to the idiot pols who protect terrorist and stab americans like this in the back.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."
