True, but then there are statements which are so self evident to knowledgable individuals that they require no further support. If this were a formal debate, we would have a panel of judges to make that determination. Since this is not a formal debate, I will make that determination on my own. And in my opinion, these facts are so well known to anyone who has followed politics in the past 2 years and they have been rehashed so often that I see no need to do so yet again.
Furthermore, in a formal debate, it would be observed that you haven't actually disagreed with the statement I made. You're trying to get me to support it with references without actually disagreeing with it, which is just a waste of my time. If I have said something which you feel is factually inaccurate then feel free to challenge the statement - just please quote me accurately and don't pull an apple strudel move.

You make some absurd claim, and when I ask you to back it up, you call me ignorant or claim that it I should know this anyway, so you wouldn't deign to actually, you know, support your arguments.
