Very sobering article:

The 00's: A Decade from Hell - TIME

Nothing new here but it sums it all up ... seems like it's been 20 years actually. Will 2010 - 2020 be much better ... doubt it very much - it will be worse as the oil situation worsens and the health care bill strangles us.

Not to be picky, but the end of the decade is technically 2011.

Oh, and you have to say that it's been a FANTASTIC decade for New England sports. No doubt about that.
