It's OT but you can change your settings to get 40 postings on a page, so then you'd only have to go through 2+ pages "of this crap"............

Stupidity is a good call for your remarks, I'd only add "cluelessness" so let me suggest you leave that badboy alone. That's what happens when you pick one statement out from an entire post and sink to a particular level, the rest of your so-called "interpretation" becomes irrelevant. It's no wonder there's such a small group who post here; who wants to wallow in some of the nasty garbage, innuendo, and downright rude bs that flows so freely here, completely unchecked, all in the name of some ideology that's so far removed from reality it's useless to even bother with.

You and others of your ilk have the luxury of sitting on your * lecturing about goodness and military morality while your persona reflects the exact opposite. Therefore I'm still liking hypocrisy a lot. Clueless works too. Perhaps "crazy" was a bad choice of a word; let's call it not being afraid to stare horror right in the face because most times the only way to do the job without fear is to consider yourself already dead. You on the other hand stare at words on a message board and consider yourself informed.

I have no idea if the thread should be closed or not but there are a couple of people who deserve a little time away.

Clueless is referencing a book like The Short Timers when you're trying to say nice things about the military. I honestly can't think of a more insulting example of depicting soldiers and the military in general in popular culture than that story. Even MASH eventually brought in Col Potter and depicted him as a character you could respect. The Short Timers and the movie that followed left its audience with the picture that every soldier out there was an ahole.

I thought the quote was completely relevant to my point. The fact it comes from a controversial book doesn't render that quote "clueless". Trees, forest, ankle bites.

Lawmakers rally to sailors' aid in court martial - Yahoo! News

Quote:
WASHINGTON – Lawmakers are seeking a reprieve for three Navy SEALs facing court-martial because one allegedly punched a suspect after arresting him for an ambush killing of U.S. contractors in Iraq.

Rather than accept a reprimand, the sailors chose to fight the charges in a military court.
Their appeal greatly raises the stakes because a guilty finding could bring stiff punishment.
A letter that Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif, circulated in the House said prosecuting the three SEALs
"seems to us to be an overreaction by the command."
Quote:
The letter by House members said prosecution of the sailors would hurt others in the military who risk their lives in dangerous, ambiguous situations.

I for one agree.

Sheesh ... PF-13 is doing about as well as Jim O'Brien lately in the public opinion polls.

Hang in there PF ...
you've been a fine addition since Free Ted is overburdened with chasing Americans back into the country.
