Profiler: Fort Hood suspect a loner - CNN.com

Quote:
Fort Hood, Texas (CNN) -- People who knew and studied Maj. Nidal Hasan say he was a loner who had no luck finding a wife, and a criminal profiler said the Fort Hood shooting suspect fits the profile of a mass murderer better than that of a terrorist.
Quote:
A lot of people are jumping to the conclusion because this man spouted violent Islamic ideology that this is a terrorist attack," criminologist Pat Brown said.

Brown, who profiles killers, said Hasan's profile is that of a loner. "He was simply a lone guy who had issues, problems, psychopathic behaviors that escalated to the point where he wanted to get back at society, and he took it out on his workmates like most of them do," he said.

It's been over a year since the obamans were elected. It's time to be big boys and take and blame that comes their way now.

It's been a year, bud. I can just see us in 2017, obama still hasn't gotten unemployment under 9% and it will STILL be because Bush preceded him.

This is one of those coke or pepsi threads... this story was attributed to a previous Obama is asleep at the wheel thread... in reality it has nothing to do with homeland security, it has to do with a conference at GWU.. he was included as he was a psychiatrist trained to deal with responses in the event of a terrorist attack...

Quote:
The task force at George Washington University designated with establishing transitional procedures in the Global War on Terror included Major Hasan, mass murder and terrorist, and, as we now learn, long time terrorist suspect. Where do we start? Do we wonder why our troops have a psychiatrist who is not only a potential terrorist but known to be extremely mentally unbalanced? Who, in the Bush Administration chose Hasan and helped him pass America's highest security clearances?

Obama has taken on a bigger recession than Reagan did and so far his plans have been more effective than Reagan's were. Will we get to 10.8% unemployment like we did under Reagan? Remains to be seen. Will the turnaround begin in less than three years? Remains to be seen. But, using history as precedent, it's too early to judge Obama's performance on the economy.

Unemployment

As far as the Fort Hood Terrorist goes, the crime happened under Obama's watch, so he's the only one who could have done something, but it's still interesting to know that this guy played the system quite effectively. It will be interesting to see what measures Obama puts in place to prevent something like this from happening again.

This is good news, when all the Bush Hating Media find out this guy worked for Bush they will really want to kill him, this makes everything easier for prosecuters a smart move on their part for getting this news out there.

It really isn't given the massive "stimulus" that has been spent in an attempt to create jobs. Jobs do tend to be a lagging indicator so things there will likely get somewhat better but I expect it will be slow and lacking (which is why I referenced 9%). And if he gets the squeaker's health care plan that will make employment worse - on the off chance he passes cap & tax (which I think is now extremely unlikely) that will make things worse again.

Regardless of how things are 1 or 2 years from now, my point is that he was elected over a year ago, whatever happens is now his. Including the fact that he still seems to think of this as a criminal act not a terrorist act and he and Casey still seem more concerned about diversity than the dead.
