Enter Alito. Alito was a good choice for Bush's budding fascist state as he wants to grant the executive branch greater war powers, in direct conflict with the US constitution. This folks, is the very definition of an activist judge.

This guy is great at skirting the important questions about war powers, apparently to hide the fact that he embraces the idea of the executive branch calling all the shots, from declaring war to declaring the constitution suspended during perpetual war.

And oh, by the way, the nomination of Harriet Miers was nothing more than a "Red" Herring, a simpletons choice, who was never intended to go anywhere- another corrupted political brainchild of scumbag fascist sympathizer Karl Rove.
