Maybe Obama will have his moment of truth soon because of Ft. Hood, wonders Larry Elder, noticing the President did recently sound a lot like Bush on Veterans Day.

In war, uncertainty will get you killed argues Daniel Henninger of the WSJ. We're at war?

Sometimes I have to come at something in a totally different way in order to express myself. This is an instance. What follows is not meant to trivialize what happened. For me, this is a cathartic exercise, done with the utmost seriousness.

Inspired by the haunting lyrics of ''The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence'':

When Major Hasan came into a room,
The PC crowd denied; they’d hide.
When Major Hasan espoused jihad,
Apologists let it slide,
Cause the price of a clash would give them pause,
This, the Major understood.
When he wanted to slip by those in charge,
He knew he could.

Home-grown in our land this enemy strode real proud,
A Koran in his fist, we missed
The kind of a threat this traitor posed
To those he served amidst;
Cause not causing waves was the only concern
That analysts really had.
When it came to gauging Hasan’s mind,
They were really bad.

My Gawd.... What are you even talking about? What is your centralized message here? You're all over the place. Is this about Hasan? Obama? Bush? Obama vs. Bush? War? Painfully bad altered song lyrics?

You try so hard to sound intelligent, you wind up sounding a little crazy.

Reminds me of what Pete Hoekstra said today... love the line "Sources outside of the intelligence community"..... WTF are we pumping all that money into homeland security, that he has to rely on sources outside of the intelligence community... the news is being filtered, and anyone who cannot see that is an absolute idiot... they are letting you know what they want you to know...

Fort Hood shootings suspect may have wired money to Pakistan | News for Dallas, Texas | Dallas Morning News | Latest News

Quote:
Rep. Pete Hoekstra, R-Mich., said sources "outside of the [intelligence] community" learned about Hasan's possible connections to the Asian country, which faces a massive Islamist insurgency and is widely believed to be Osama bin Laden's hiding place.

Hoekstra, the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, would not identify the sources. But he said "they are trying to follow up on it because they recognize that if there are communications – phone or money transfers with somebody in Pakistan – it just raises a whole other level of questions."

Much remains unknown about the 39-year-old Hasan, born in Virginia to Palestinian immigrants. He lived alone near the Army base in Killeen, Texas, and would sometimes use a neighbor's computer even though he had his own.

You know what s*cks about this j@ck@ss being alive. We are all going to hear the tugging and pulling over him, for ratings of course. Why couldn't she have gotten a kill shot in on this martyr?
