US Involvement in Iraq, Afghanistan Cause 'Blowback'
The author goes into why there are people out there who want to harm the US. It has nothing to do with their religion. It has nothing to do with 'hating our freedoms'. It does have to do with our past and current actions on their native soil, and the millions of innocent lives lost or oppressed in various parts of that region, through no fault of their own. Any sane person would go for revenge if a loved one died because of a foreign power.

I disagree that it's 'old' news. The vast majority of this country still think we were attacked, because of their religious beliefs, and because they hate "our freedom".

How far back would you like to go on us being hated ... we can go back as far as you wish ... Not to say Hornberger is wrong, just as I said ... it's old news.
great source by the way just what do you expect to read at LewRockwell.com / Hornberger? He's been writing that stuff since 1990. Like you said to RealWorld ... practice what you preach.

Oh FBN. You don't dictate what is and what is not ripe for discussion around here. The only thing "old" around here are conservative efforts to thwart unflattering geopolitical discussion by pretending it's not relevant.
Opinion isn't "news," it's opinion. Meanwhile, Fort Hood IS news, and the opinions behind the root causes of Fort Hood will never go away until they're are acknowledged and changed, as much as you'd like them to evaporate.
You've made great strides in this forum (finally) acknowledging U.S. culpability around the globe and precedent set by criminals in power long ago that affects foreign policy today. But when you reverse course and again try to ridicule an ongoing debate topic like this, it really makes your progress ring hollow.
Give it a rest.

Simply not the case here

Once again simply not true ... in fact
... I have been stating for years that we are hated for multiple reasons.

Okay now ... let's get back to my point in this thread. Which was this:

That is a very true statement ... not some FBN fantasy.
Hornberger is anti-war, anti-state, anti-government libertarian.
My point is valid - Hornberger is simply piling on restating old positions he has made for years ... it's old news ... old news in this forum also.
As to the subjects popularity ... well ... the forum acknowleges my position with their non-interest ... it is old news. You have other windmills here to slay don't you?
