Yeah that's pretty much it in a nutshell. But we are off topic. Now I know you find it appealing to make sure all of those whom are uninsured, get insurance. For me as someone whom has great insurance, what I like about the GOP's version is it's a starting point. A place to start making incremental changes to the system mostly focused on cost. Make the insurance more affordable. If you go back to page two, PatsfaninMaine gives a good link about some of the tenants to the dem's plan. The one part that I particularly don't like is one's inability to get any of the price breaks offered on the basic plan, and that you have to start on the basic plan for two years prior to subsidy. Why shouldn't I be able to buy better insurance for my family if I afford it. They let you, but you have to start out at a much higher price, through the lack of subsidy.
