Default Rank the Presidents

Below I separately ranked the Republican and Democratic Presidents from best to worse. How would you rank them?

REPUBLICANS

1. Bush I
2. Eisenhower
3. Ford
4. Reagan
5. Nixon
6. Bush II

DEMOCRATS

1. Roosevelt
2. Kennedy
3. Clinton
4. Johnson
5. Carter
6. Truman

For me, Nixon would rank higher if it wasn't for Watergate, and Truman would rank higher if he hadn't nuked Japan.

No disagreement about Bush at 43, but is Clinton really the best President of all time? Or just from the list given by Patters (I assumed since you counted out 43 you were considering all of them).

Unemployment, jobs, economy deficit, Education, Law Enforcement, etc...all major plusses and those are the things of importance to ALLAmericans.

Of course, neocons wouldnt see it that way...because he didnt cater tothe wealthy and hope it would trickle down to the not so wealthy, which it never does.

So yes, overall Clinton ranks high ....maybe not number 1, but pretty close.

Bush II, on the other hand is as low as one can get, like in the sewer being consumed by all the $ hit he has created.

It cracks me up that the only thing you equate Clinton to is a blow job. You seem to completely ignore the fact that he singlehandedly destroyed our Military and our intelligence services, and lets be honest...Clinton was responsible for 9-11. If the only bad thing you think he did was lie about a blowjob---you obviously know NOTHING about Clinton.

He destroyed our military? Wow, I thought they did a spectacular job in Iraqi Freedom (even though they were never meant to be nation builders). What gives?

They (The Neo Lib Dems) use the Blow Job more than the Neo Cons do.
Clinton is "Trailer Park White Trash" that happens to be a very slick politician.

ELOrocks, I thought you were Republican? What about taking responsibility for what happens during your guy's watch. He had 8 months to begin correcting things, but what did he do? Next to nothing. Focused on tax cuts and dropped U.S. involvement in the Middle East. Besides, when Clinton was President there was a Republican Congress. Boy, it's one thing to kiss *****, but you don't have to do it by making up lies about Clinton. Under Clinton we had peace and prosperity. Under Bush we've had 5,000 deaths and counting and huge budget deficits. Those are facts. You don't like them, so you try to rewrite history. Instead, you should try to learn the truth, and try to take responsibility for the mess that you and those like you have brought upon this great country by blindly supporting a corrupt and incompetent president. It's called Personal Responsibility, something that the Republicans like you talk about, but refuse to practice.

Personal responsibility, what a unique idea, does that mean if you deliberately violate the constitution you should be held responsible, like in impeachment???

Nah, no one would like that idea, keep blaming side street media, Clinton, Harry Reid, Pelosi, Hillary and whomever it is much easier than taking personal responsibility. All the while Limbaugh, Savage(aka Weiner), Coulter, O'Reilly continue with their half truths and a lot of folks believe them.
