Consider the alternative, if he was quieter on this... he would be accused of playing too much golf, basketball or other such nonsense... whether or not it affected your children it is serious... you cannot extrapolate anecdotal evidence to a larger scale, when I was a kid quite a few got polio... just because no one in my family did, did not mean it was not a serious event.

Funny, that's the reverse of those who say W. should have warned us the country more about any terrorist attacks back in 2001.

Anyway, he's a fear monger no more no less. He should give the stats of the rate that people catch it compared to the average flu and the frequency of significant issues once caught, including death. Then we can decide for ourselves.

What PR quoted, I have no problem with. PR's interpretation, now that's a little overboard.
