President Barack Obama has only been in office for just over nine months, but he's already hit the links as much as President Bush did in over two years.
With our military, American citizens, and the rest of the world, now waiting over two months for Obama to make a decision regarding Afganistan, it's sooo nice to see our President spending sooo much time away from the strategy room to enjoy soooo many rounds of golf. What a wonderful set of priorities.

Prince Obama can't worry about Afghanistan or the "dying troops" he is now at war with Fox News, Golf helps him plan his next move on Glenn Beck.

Don't make us trot out the obligatory link showing that George Bush spent a full third of his administration on vacation.
If you weren't upset then, which I suspect you weren't, then you really can't whine now, can you? And I'm sure all that golf is really what's delaying Obama's decision on Afghanistan

The President of the United States is never on vacation. He may be in Washington, he may be in Texas or he may be in Walla-Walla, but he is still getting daily briefings, security updates, maintaining contact with his cabinet, etc, etc.
The whole issue is completely overblown by both sides.

Oh my God common sense, Obama goes out and plays 18 holes on weekends... what is the big deal???

There is really nothing wrong with it. I think if things were going well economically so on and so forth it's not a big deal. But, with the current state of things here and abroad it really makes the guy lose credibility.

Maybe among people who were tendentiously opposed to him anyway.

What's the big deal? Wish you would have asked this question when everyone was critizing Bush for playing a round now and then.
However there is a big deal: Morale dips for American marines in Afghanistan. It would be nice for the President to make a freegin decision regarding Afganistan. Our troops are hoping for reinforcements while BO is busy washing his golfballs. You think the war and our troops would be a high priority on his agenda?

So because he hasn't made a decision yet re: Afghanistan, it follows that the war and our troops are not a high priority on his agenda?
Seriously, that logic doesn't even pass at a high school level.
