Default I was sure I was told......

right here on this forum that the 'evil one', 'fascist', 'uncaring', 'uncompassionate' George Bush never did this sort of thing.

I mean I was told often here that Bush has never visited a single wounded soldier. Doesn't care about them. That he is just using us Soldiers to put forth a fascist 'neo-con' state for his and the 'oil industry's' personal aggrandizement.

Quote:
BETHESDA, Md. — Since the Iraq war began in 2003, it has become an [bold]annual [/bold]pre-Christmas rite for President Bush to personally comfort wounded soldiers. He continued that tradition Wednesday, going bed-to-bed in an intensive care unit and handing out Purple Hearts to the valiant.
................
The president [bold]makes occasional visits[/bold] to either the Navy facility or Walter Reed Army Medical Center, nearby in Washington, to talk with soldiers recovering from injuries suffered in Iraq or Afghanistan. The pre-holiday pilgrimage to one of the facilities has become a staple on the president's schedule in [bold]each of the past three years.[/bold]

But look its being reported in an AP story. Go figure. Do you think its in the realm of the possible Moveon.org and its shills here could have been lieing to me?????? No say it isn't so.

Gee, I wonder what else they lie to us about. (Patriot Act, Anwar drilling, 'wiretapping' for instance????)

(Oh, I forgot. It's not lieing. It's "spinning".)
