The Syrians have said how happy they are, Castro, Kim Jong, Chavez, all the great men of peace are thrilled that this simply amazing human being has won this prize....
Meanwhile Republicans and the Taliban will make no pretense about what *******s they can be, when it comes to Obama.

So the US loses it's Olympic bid, and the GOP cheers.
The US President wins the Nobel prize, and the GOP boos.

Why do you guys hate America?

Will Obama be given the gold glove in baseball and will he make the pro-bowl
this year too?

What has he done for peace?

We are in two wars, and he has increased troops to Afghanistan.

The Nobel prize is now as big a joke as the gold glove in baseball and
the NFL pro-bowl.

Obama Winning the peace prize = Jeter winning the gold glove over Alex Gonzalez in 2006.

The Nobel committee wanted to give the prize to TOTUS. This award was an affirmation that talking the talk is the best peace of all. Why drive terrorism to it's death when that kills innocent people. Why bomb the mosques where they store wepons and launch operations because that only leads to more violence. It is far better to talk jive. This will appease world dictators into love and increased human rights. It's not that black-n-white.

Fakrissakes, anyone who first heard this must have thought, "Huh? This must be some kind of an "Onion"-style news story joke". That's what I thought.

This ***** is priceless and It makes my day. Moreso knowing the deadline for nominations was 2/1/09, so the One actually did all this to deserve the award in under two weeks from when he took office. The whole world bows to the "power of his oneness"

The NP has been a joke for years. Carter got one in 2002 for basically just "speaking out" against Bush's policies. Obama got on for essentially being "Not Bush".

It's simply Carter's 2nd Nobel Prize.................. no one can argue with the logic behind that, since this is basically Carter's 2nd Presidency.
Great post !

The Deadline for the nominations was 2/1/09 ????????????
Wow........ He must have done a lot in less than 2 weeks as president.
We all know he did nothing in the Senate.

It is that black-and-white. It's not so much about the merits of Obama winning an award he did not seek. It's about the Republicans' sheer inability to not be *******s all. the. time.
