American Police Force... American Militia... Very Scary
Sounds like some b grade cartoon, all of a sudden shows up in Hardin Montana... which has no police force, and put stickers on their vehicles saying Hardin Police Force, then they remove it... is this a subsidiary of Xe or one of the other paramilitary forces underwritten by the US??? Complete with a Serbian Copied shield... this is getting scary folks.

A shadowy private security company that has no known clients but claims to have helped foreign governments combat terrorism and will protect anything from cruise ships to Pakistani convoys has taken over a jail in a small Montana town, with plans to build a law enforcement training facility on the property.
The state legislature is looking into the matter and residents of Hardin, MT, were alarmed last week when executives from the firm, American Police Force, showed up in the town, which does not have its own police department, with Mercedes SUVs bearing "City Of Hardin Police Department" decals.

Montana legislators said Tuesday they want to know more about a secretive California company that wants to take over an empty jail in the southeastern corner of the state and build a military training center on adjacent property.
The company, American Police Force, has attracted widespread attention with its plans - but won't reveal its backers or where it would get prisoners for the jail, located in the rural city of Hardin.
With Hardin officials also saying little about the company, rumors have flourished. On a Web site run by right-wing radio show host Alex Jones, a posting claimed that employees of American Police Force had "occupied" the city and started patrolling its streets.

Fuggem. Boys suffering from arrested development playing cops n robbers. One instance is not a trend. I'm gonna pass on this and let the MT State Police handle these clowns.

Yeah but a deadly virus develops from one little infected cell. This can either be a joke of a news story or the beginning to something more sinister. Dismissing it as you just did isn't smart.

I always dismiss anything that is a one-time occurrence. I'll get nervous/ pissed if it becomes a trend. I trust the MT Staties to deal with these inbred mow-rons and I hope they kick the snot out of them while they're at it- not because what they're doing is dangerous (nothing is considered dangerous in Montana) but just because I can't stand paramilitary geeks like these pud-pullers.

Eh. If it gets bad enough you may see some armed and pissed off Montana citizens taking care of them faster than the Staties.

A caller to the Alex Jones Show today said that he called Blackwater, who told him that American Police Force were illegally using their material and logos and that they were considering taking legal action against the paramilitary organization currently conducting law enforcement duties in Hardin, Montana.
As we reported earlier, APF claims that it runs the U.S. Training Center, which is publicly controlled by Blackwater
