... your dreams of the relegation of America to a second-rate nation is inching closer and closer:
World Bank Head Sees Dollar’s Role Diminishing
WASHINGTON — The president of the World Bank said on Monday that America’s days as an unchallenged economic superpower might be numbered and that the dollar was likely to lose its favored position as the euro and the Chinese renminbi assume bigger roles.
Robert Zoellick said the Treasury should get more power.
“The United States would be mistaken to take for granted the dollar’s place as the world’s predominant reserve currency,” the World Bank president, Robert B. Zoellick, said in a speech at the School for Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins. “Looking forward, there will increasingly be other options to the dollar.”

Re: Way to go, Jimmy, Bubba, Bawney, and Chris ...
Trying to pin the housing crisis on the CRA is fatuous, at best. If anything, the repeal of Glass-Steagal (led my Republicans), had a much more deleterious effect on the economy.
And of course you choose to ignore the legacy of one of the most fiscally irresponsible presidents in American history, George W. Bush.

I made a prediction as soon as it was clear that the Democrats controlled Congress and The White House that they would immediately start to "self destruct" Obama, Pelosi, Reid etc have put them right on track and they are well on their way to that very thing "self destruction"
"WHAT HAVE WE DONE" the stunned American People are now saying.........

Buyers' remorse is in full bloom now. After all the silver-tongue promises by the first "rock star" presidential candidate -- replete with his own Greek columns Democrat coronation -- his entire facade is falling off and the Dems are falling into chaos.
Watch out for the "National Security Force", aka the "gun grabbers". They will be out to do what the British failed to do 230 years ago.

You are being ignored, instead there is the usual guffah behavior.. instead of dealing with the information offered.

-6 is "pretty popular"??? For a guy who had +60 in January???
Obama's approval rating has been in constant free-fall since his coronation .... er, his inauguration in January. The only thing that's saving him from the pitchforks and being ridden out of town on a rail is the stock market. No doubt the Chinese, Russia, and privateers, like George Soros, are propping that up ... to suit their own agendas.

1) Rasmussen has always been an outlier. Looking at an aggregate measure is would be the accurate way of going about it: According to Pollster.com, Obama's average job approval (after removing Rasmussen), is 51 approve, 43 disapprove. If you look at the graph, he hasn't been in free fall; it's called regression to the mean.
2) Strong approval vs. strong disapproval is completely meaningless. All that shows is the the right is more butthurt over the fact they're no longer in power.
