Actually, my job doesn't forbid me from doing research on my own time, foggy. Does your church tit job? Over here in the U.S., Saturday and Sunday are weekends. Or do you not know what day it is, because you do not leave the home to work?

As to shooting yourself in the foot, foggy, the bust does not date to the Soviet era, regardless of whatever you imagine the argument to be. You have lost the one you begged with your assertion that the bust dated to soviet times. It does not.

It dates to the era when Lithuania was first asserting its democratic freedom in the face of its previous Russian overlords.

During that time, as a suitable symbol of that newfound freedom, the guy featured got the bust established in a public space. Zappa as a symbol of freedom. The pornographic, blasphemous Frank Zappa.

You and Francisco Franco would agree about Zappa. Your churches would as well. So would Stalin. None of you would like him, and all of you seek to repress those of his ilk.

So string together another 20 or 30 personal insults, and attack a job you know nothing about (nor will you) as a "tit job..." And meanwhile, who exactly do you work for? You implied in the past that you work for the church or somesuch. Is that or is that not the case? Since you are so interested in the fact that I work for the people, perhaps you can let me know in what capacity you work against them.

Regardless, your childish remarks don't salvage your insufficient knowledge of even your own local landmarks in your nation of choice, Lithuania; or, less charitably, it does not save you from the fact that you routinely simply lie to construct an alternate reality that fits more closely with your hermetically sealed, 100% fact-free world-view.

What's funny is you still don't get that you lost the point. You do this on a regular basis, and never show the faintest glimmer of awareness. You're like that guy in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, who has all his limbs chopped off and keep yelling insults at the other guy as he walks away.

The Zappa bust post-dates the Soviet era. It was erected as a test of Lithuanian freedom, not as a tribute by the soviet bosses to Zappa. Zappa, in the context of this event, was used as a symbol of freedom, not repression.

And Franco was the bloody dictator of Spain, not a rock and roll icon.

And the real joke is, half of Zappa's songs were about people like you.

You saying that Zappa is a "victory for freedom" is like saying it's a "victory for freedom" for a murderer to escape from prison -- and it doesn't matter if it is a Soviet prison or an American prison, murderers are murderers.

Zappa was a classic example of a MIS-user of freedom, and ABUSER of freedom. When he had the chance to live a healthy productive life, he used his freedom to live a dirty, decadent, amoral life. His children and the public are left to clean up his filthy mess. Many have chosen -- used their freedom, as it were -- to see what Zappa did wrong in his life, and to choose alternate paths to follow. Zappa's wasted life is a morality play for all in this age, like the record of Sodom and Gomorrah was for thousands of years, even today. And eventually those with their heads on straight realized the joker Zappa was being given recognition he certainly didn't deserve, and has been removed. That's a fact.
