Back in the day, when Republicans ruled and fear ran through the blood of every american, the GOP gathered. They decided that supply side economics, deregulation and tax cuts for the wealthiest americans was the best option for our nation at the time. They passed much of this legistlation with reconciliation. They stood together and stayed on message. They voted in lock-step and challenged those who dared to voice an opposing opinion as 'unamerican' or worse....that they 'hated the troops'...


now look....at the spineless Democrats....so sad

They have 60 members, and need only 51 to vote for a healthacre bill that they claim to want, have campaigned on for over 20 years and can't seem to come together on this.


Time to forget Republicans, like they forgot you guys. Pass the bill YOU want, they are not on board for any of the bills that have come out thus far...so fukc 'em.

We should remember, Republicans used reconciliation to pass tax cuts...which Democrats like Feinstein even voted for. They didn't use reconciliation to pass a trillion dollar bill that would change the healthcare landscape forever.

It's not really comparable, when looked at in that light.

The tax cuts were much more fiscally irresponsible than the health care plan, however.

Why? lower marginal rates spurred economic activity and frew government revenued, which were foolishly spent.

Another entitlement program will seriously hurt the economy.

Please provide an example where a government entitlement program did not cost at least 5x more than original projections.
