OSTON — State police spent nearly $115,000 on overtime pay to help provide security for last month’s memorial services for Sen. Edward Kennedy, who died Aug. 25 of brain cancer.

The figures were released today after a request by The Associated Press.....

I personally feel that figure to be on the light side. I have nothing to base my opinion on mind you. I'm just doing some quick math in my head, and $115,000 simply seems light for:

Granted, there is the BPD, BFD, FBI, Secret Service, NSA, etc end of the bill as well, so I know that the $115k is only a portion of it.

I'm not a millionaire yet until I sell the damn house and I'll probably be dead before I sell it, if I die before I sell it I'll probably have to bring the price down.

BPD's bill is probably double or triple the bill for the state police...
