No Confidence in Schilling by Mass GOP?????
Gotta wonder, seems as though they had some kind of meeting and want Andrew Card to run... there are those here who wanted to elect Schilling by affirmation.. not sure how you do that.. but the powers to be may have something different in mind..
Holbrook native Card reportedly likely to run for Senate - Holbrook, MA - Holbrook Sun
Quote:
Card showed increasing enthusiasm for the seat at a Republican State Committee meeting in a Newton hotel.
Card said he had “a phenomenal desire” to announce his campaign, but added that his wife Kathleene’s work as a Methodist minister with a small congregation in Virginia would play a potentially determinative factor in his decision.
“I am not going to ask my wife to leave her church,” he told reporters outside the meeting.
“You’re all looking at me and wondering why I’m back from Washington, D.C. to come back to a Republican state committee meeting,” Card said during his speech. “Well, first of all, you know how passionate I am about this state. Massachusetts is my home, and it has been my home even during the whole time I was away.”
