No Confidence in Schilling by Mass GOP????? - New England Patriots Forums

Gotta wonder, seems as though they had some kind of meeting and want Andrew Card to run... there are those here who wanted to elect Schilling by affirmation.. not sure how you do that.. but the powers to be may have something different in mind..

The group's leaders had a meeting, yes. They also met with the only other possible candidates, potential(then) governor candidate Christy Mihos, a state senator from Wrentham, and the former US Attorney for Massachusetts. They all decided to defer to Card due to his credentials down in Washington and name across the state rather than go with the two lesser known candidates.

I think they all decided to let Card be the sacrificial lamb.

Maybe this is why..

Guess he will not get elected by "affirmation" as only 26% want him as their senator... very reliable that Rasmussen, or so the righties tell me.

In a survey of 800 voters conducted Tuesday, 53 percent said Schilling shouldn’t run and 46 percent said he’s not qualified to serve in the Senate. The poll has a 3 percent margin of error.

Another 30 percent said they are not at all likely to vote for him, while 16 percent said they are “very likely” to send him to Washington D.C.
