New Oliver Stone Movie Targets US Media Distortion Over South America
For anyone who has read NY Times bestseller "Confessions of an Economic Hitman", you already know about how the US has regularly targeted and toppled democratically elected leaders who go against what the US wants... sometimes through shady means such as giving financial and military aid to dictators, as well as resorting to assassination of democratic leaders. And then we all wonder why South America has such anti-American views.
Oliver Stone interviews 6 South American Presidents, with the film focusing on the rampant US media demonization of any leader who goes against what the US wants.
