Hitler a right winger? The word "NAZI" comes from NSDAP, which stands for National Socialist German Workers Party. The Nazis were all about big government, the people criticizing Obama favor small government.

You may wish to clarify your post, as it does not make a lot of sense.. Nazi is much more than big government.. you beg the issue. If big gov't was the criteria for being a NAZI, George Bush would have been a Nazi also...

I think you're missing the point, being pro-Nazi will mean the person endorses big government and is not interested in personal freedom, but there are also people who want big government who are not Nazis, sort of like a dime being a coin but a coin isn't necessarily a dime.

Anyway, the main point was that calling small government people "Nazis" does not make sense, Nazism is left-wing, it's national socialism and communism is international socialism, that's really the only significant difference between the two, a far cry from people that want Obama and Congress out of their lives so they can make their own choices.

Perhaps how the American Nazi Party Defines itself might be helpful..being white is the predominant theme.. diametrically opposed seems more appropo..

Sorry but you're changing your definitions mid-argument. Perhaps Maverick meant "white supremacist" but just went for the more politically effective smear of "Nazi" instead.

According to Nazi doctrine a powerful socialist government is needed to make sure one of the volk doesn't negatively impact others of the volk, which is why they endorse the government regulating the hell out of businesses and eliminating the motive and ability to pursue personal profit. The people criticizing Obama do NOT want that kind of regulation, which effectively disqualifies them from being Nazis.

No, Nazism needs a powerful socialist government to manage those Germanic people in one big happy family.

While Nazism proclaims a group to being better than others there are also people who believe themselves to be a member of a superior group but do NOT want a big government over them.

Wrong. Getting rid of other peoples is just one part of the Nazi equation, after you've cleared the living space for your people you need to have a socialist government managing them. The Swedish welfare state is very much in line with Nazi doctrine.
