Default Right between the eyes: Breitbart nails the hypocritical mainstream media

Stop and think: how long would the mainstream media have sat on the story of Van Jones had he been a Republican appointee, not a Democrat??? Everybody knows that the entire line-up, from early morning wake-up Today and Good Morning America to prime time Katie Couric to the late night jokesters, Letterboy and Conan, as well as the "august" NY Times, Washington Past, et. al., would have been all over Jones like flies on summer shi......

YET, since he was a "golden boy" Obama appointee -- and a "bit" of an edgy persona, to boot -- the Vanster got a totally free pass from the time his name was suggested until the internet and AM talk radio exposed this guy and his radical anti-American agenda, at which point he finally was exposed, but no thanks to the ultra liberal "mainstream" media.

BREITBART: Couric should look in mirror

By Andrew Breitbart

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Now that White House "Green Jobs Czar" Van Jones has resigned, what's next?

Inevitably, the American mainstream media - ABC, NBC, CBS, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Time, Newsweek, et al - must be held to account for sitting on the sidelines as this major story kept building without them, went viral on YouTube, and then became so large that a key appointee of President Obama was forced to step down.

But with their decision to ignore the Jones story, they may have actually done Mr. Obama far more harm than good: Who vetted this guy? How did he get past the FBI? What did he say, and how did he answer the infamous seven-page questionnaire that all Obama appointees were required to fill out? Inquiring Freedom of Information Act minds want to know.

BREITBART: Couric should look in mirror - Washington Times

... and let's not forget: it is the same people who tried to push Van Jones as the "Green Czar" without anyone getting the chance to look at what he stands for who want to "control/limit/censor" the use of the internet. North Korea does internet censoring; China does internet censoring; some fundamentalist Islamic states do internet censoring; Castro's Cuba does internet censoring ......... do we want someone in Washington to censor our internet use?????

If this was the Bush administration the LEFT WING OBAMA MEDIA would be calling for impeachment.

Thank our LORD IN HEAVEN for Fox, Drudge, Internet, Limbaugh and all of Talk Radio without them this piece of Racist ***** Jones would probably have been promoted, it isn't only Katie (pie face) Couric who should look in the mirror Stupid Obama should also.

Barack Hussein Obama should be ashamed of himself for appointing Racists to his Czar Brigade.

THE SHIP IS SINKING

The poor me whining of the right is so pathetic. Where was the coverage of the justice department officials who were illegally fired for political reasons? There was negligible coverage until the Dems decided to investigate. The righties need to man up a little more and not get so hysterical every when the media doesn't gave in to their whines. Many Bush officials were dismissed and received negligble coverage. Besides, there was nothing to cover with Van Jones. He resigned, accused of nothing but having some unpopular political beliefs. It's a sad state when fascism rears its ugly head and forces out public servants for their privately held beliefs.

Patters, you don't think it's strange that NOT ONE WORD was breathed about this far-out nut-case whacko, Van Jones!! Not a THING in any of the "mainstream" media outlets!! Not a whisper.

But let Sarah Palin gush about "seeing Russia" and it's hootenanny time on all the networks!! Knee-slappers' convention 24/7!!

You see no double standard in all this, Patters????

And, "fascism"??? The whacko was saying Bush was "licking crack pipes"!!! My friends from the 'hood say this is like calling a person the lowest of the lowest of the low. Sheeeesh. And Obama said he was going to "heal the rancor and divisiveness"????

Why did the press ignore the Van Jones scandal? | Washington Examiner

Covering up for Rev. Wright, Chas. Freeman, John Edwards, and now Van Jones.

The mainstream media are a pure left wing entity and now the propaganda arm of the Obama regime. They're so in the tank for him.

It's one of the reasons I've completely stopped watching tv news. I prefer podcasts from the BBC, NPR, and talk radio.

Yes, it's a very serious issue in the "free democratic" world. The media types have become an incestuous lot, each competing to "scoop" each other for bragging rights, but then settling into the bar, c0cktail lounge, or orgy nest in the evening. They all believe the same thing about life: self-centered individualism, "me-first", how to "score" for one's self, the public be damned. And THAT ain't working, my friends.

Jeez you must have missed the shyt storm around Wright and Edwards, certainly got a lot of press from what I saw... keep on believe those right wing blogs about the conspiracy.. there was also a lot of press about Van Jones as well, but if you only read right wing blogs and news, and they tell you what to think, then what do you expect... lemmings on parade.

Sarah Palin was running for VPOTUS. How many of us had any current knowledge of who Van Jones is, or was? Hadrly a valid comparison.

On the other hand, I seem to recall that the press was all over the Bill Clinton sexcapades when it was exposed.

There's no double standard, this is just you whining about something that's not a big deal.
