This is beyond bizarre, I am a firm believer in law and order... but this is way out of control.. guess they need to revisit their use of force guidelines... no way is this one justified.

76-year-old man Tasered by police, almost sparks riot at town parade

Grose wanted to head directly to the town park for a tractor pull like in previous years. But the police department had a different plan, which apparently was not communicated to the tractor drivers.

As a result, Grose encountered an officer attempting to direct the tractors along the regular parade route. Grose said he drove around the officer. The officer said he was struck by the tractor and injured his wrist, according to a state review of the incident.

The police chief said the officer then chased Grose on foot until a fellow officer joined the pursuit in a police car and caught up to Grose's tractor. The police pulled in front of the tractor, and the tractor came to a stop as it bumped the police car.

That is when the officer shocked Grose with the Taser. "It hurt like hell," said Bud Grose, who suffered bruising on his left upper body but no serious injuries.

Could have been avoided, the tractor driver should have gone where he was told to go, I would have blown his f-cking head off.

I think Grose was a plant by anarchists, look at him does he look 76 to you?.....What did you want the officer to do? He was assaulted by a deadly weapon...a slow moving hard to steer tractor driven by a law breaking lunatic.

I love the part where the officer says in his report that Grose SLAMMED INTO his car. The only problem is there are hundreds of witnesses that don't aggree.

Its about time people got pissed off at someone being taserd, the cops love to use it and seem to find any excuse.

I would have emptied the magazine in the scoff law scumbag and then reloaded. You can never be to carefull
