Default Internet "protection" bill

I hadn't heard about this until this morning, but apparently there is a bill being proposed in the Senate now that if passed would allow the President to shut down or "take control" (which is a vague term) of the internet. Yes, this news story is from Fox News, but I did a quick check on CNN and MSNBC for it and couldn't find it. So take it at face value.

Senate Bill Would Give President Emergency Control of Internet - Political News - FOXNews.com

So how do you feel about this?

It has been on Drudge for about a week now, it was discussed here extensively in a previous thread... it comes down to being able to control the internet in a national emergency.. do not go into specifics...

One of those things that cannot imagine it becoming necessary, but then again could not have imagined 9-11 either...

Little strutting socialist wannabe dictator who calls Police Dept's "stupid"

Democrats and the Messiah Himself are dumbfounded to find out that we all don't "worship" him.

Be Careful America

Remember the thread, a search does not have it come up... but remember the discussion vividly. Maybe it was called something else??

Prince Comrade Barack eventually wants control of everything, Radio, Internet, TV, Walkie Talkie's and anything else that the American people can use to DISAGREE WITH HIM, dictators do these things, Hitler Stalin, Castro, Chavez etc it is one of their first moves after coming into power SILENCE THOSE THAT OPPOSE.
