The costs have been talked about in other threads. If you want, open a new thread about costs. This thread is about the Chuck Norris deception. If you don't understand the Chuck Norris reference, please go back and actually read the original post.

Ah, I see it was actually written by Chuck Norris. I thought Darryl was just trying to be smart.

The thread started out about the item in the bill. The "deception" was referenced later. This thread isn't ABOUT the deception.

Is it deception ? It appears to be. Which is unfortunate as this is a big fail for me even stated correctly. It's no more deceptive than much stuff from the other side. I don't think either side is being particularly honest right now.

I agree, but the lies coming from the right are becoming more and more unbearable... unfortunately the lies are feeding the hysteria..

OK, now that was just plain stupid. The thread was about Chuck Norris's column. He fraudently left out the word "voluntary" to suit his purposes, ie make the bill look bad, and Harry was passing it along. By default, this thread became about this DECEPTION, becuase the topic of the thread was based on a deception, the so called "dirty secret" about "the government's coming into homes and usurping parental rights over child care and development" (Harry's interpretation).

Please don't compare the left and the right. The tactics of the right is entirely about sabotaging this bill by telling obscene lies and creating hysteria to make the merits of the bill impossible to discusss in a civil matter.
